2007 Toyota Matrix Pocket Reference Guide
Matrix lost its all-wheel-drive and sporty models for 2007. New for '07 was an M-Theory option package with 4-wheel disc brakes and special trim. A special edition Matrix M-Theory package is the big change for the otherwise carryover 2007 Matrix compact crossover. M-Theory come with 17-inch Caldina alloy wheels with P215/50R17 tires, strut tower brace, sport-tuned suspension, four wheel disc brakes, logo floor mats, rear deck lid spoiler, a large chrome exhaust tip and M-Theory badges. All special edition models are painted Speedway Blue and come with individually numbered limited edition plaques. Only 2500 of these will be built. The other big news for 2007 is that all-wheel drive is now longer offered in the Matrix and the XRS model has been dropped.
