I don't know the manufacturer, but I think it is one of the POS (point of Sales) hardware manufacture.The MIC is a decoder of barcodes and Magnetic Stripe Reader with a powerful communication Interface that is capable adapting data format so that is transmit the data exactly as is required by data application. This device also capale of modification of data before it send to a host.
The Universal Input Input port of the MIC (sub-D9 pins) recognize automatically the following device
- Undecoded Laser
- Pen (Light Pen, Optical Badge Reader)
- RS 232-C equipment
- Magnetic Stripe equipment
