The Eclipse of Metrologic is a handheld linear reader that comes equipped with the CodeGate technology patented by Metrologic. The line width increases as the scanner moves away of the bar code. In addition, the ray laser blinks to make aiming at the code easier and when the reader detects a bar code (thanks to the CodeSense™), the laser changes automatically and activates the CodeGate device to ensure a greater speed and reliability reading.
