BMW X3 comes in two flavor the 2.5i, which refers to the vehicle’s 2.5L inline 6-cylinder engine (184 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque), and the 3.0i (225 hp and 214 lb-ft from a larger inline six) which are based on BMW E83 platforms. The X3 SUV is less expensive than the older brother X5 which is a SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle). Optionally equipped with the 5 speed Automatic Transmission called Steptronic that offers drivers 3 choice of modes: normal, sport and manual shift.
